Permaculture is an ecological design system that empowers us to create sustainable lifestyles and human habitats by using nature's patterns. Enabling us to create solutions to local and global problems, it provides ways to design and create healthy productive places to work, rest and play. The course covers the following and more.

Permaculture ethics and principles, patterns in nature and in design, Sustainable systems, Permaculture design tools and strategies, sustainable building and renewable energy, Sustainable food agriculture and mariculture systems, sustainability and health, group work and practical design exercises, sustainable communities, strategies for transition to sustainability.

Course Tutors: Steve Charter - (Diploma Permaculture Design, MA Environmental Planning), assisted by Nir Halfon (Dip Biodynamics, Cert. Permaculture Design). The certificate will be issued by the Permaculture Academy (GB) and is recognised by the permaculture and sustainable communities movement world-wide.
