New National Park created in an attempt to protect Cassowary species
Recently a new National Park was opened in the Macalister Ranges, Queensland in order to protect the Cassowaries of the region. A total area of 5000ha was aloted contaning habitat vital to the species future. It's great to see the efforts of the small number of people involved in protecting the endangered species getting some results.
