Role Description

Think Global is a small education charity helping thousands of children to learn about out sustainability, development and justice.

We are involved with and exciting campaign which launches in March and takes place in June. The campaign will involve thousands of supporters and we need some help from a person who is able to work from home.

The role involves researching organisations, contacting groups and social networking.

We offer you a chance to shine as part on an exciting campaign and to gain experience in fundraising and campaign work.

Overall Objectives:

  • To help us promote a fundraising and awareness campaign.

External relations:

  • To research and make contact with groups and networks in your local area to spread awareness about the campaign.
  • To encourage sign-up to the campaign.
  • To contribute ideas and information to the campaign manager.

 

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Ability to self manage your time, and deliver projects within the required number of days
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • High levels of motivation and initiative
  • An understanding of social networks

Desirable:

  • Experience of delivering training 

 

Terms and conditions

Reports to: Projects and Events Manager

Expenses: Travel and other as required  

Hours: 5-10 hours per week (part-time)

Location: Home based

Time frame: March to Mid-May
