Dekeyser&Friends is a Swiss Foundation founded in 2009 by Bobby Dekeyser and Florian Hoffmann that strives to create educational platforms. It aims to foster encounters between different cultures, different ages and soci- al strata by bringing young people from various backgrounds together with distinguished “Friends”. Leading ar- tists, entrepreneurs, educators, sportsmen are able to pass on their experience through a common activity and achievement – a Dekeyser&Friends Project. For this cause, Dekeyser&Friends initiates and implements projects with focal points on culture, development, the arts, sports and start-ups. All projects reflect the foundation’s values of mutual respect, tolerance, intercultural understanding, optimism and trust in oneself as well as the belief in team play. Dekeyser&Friends aims to inspire as many participants as possible. Dekeyser&Friends set up the innovative Inspiration Academy in Hamburg running shorter and more frequent projects.

Internship description

Interns and volunteers are crucial in accomplishing the mission of the Dekeyser&Friends Foundation and are valued members of our team. For our D&F Academy Hamburg we are looking for an intern who will assist the Communications and Development Manager in the everyday work of the Foundation and execute a wide variety of tasks within the areas of global marketing, websites, social media and public relations, such as:

• Assistance in the implementation of our social media strategy

• Maintainance and care our website

• PR & marketing research and implementation

• Analyses within the fields of communications and development

• CRM (Customer Relationship Management) administration

• Updating our database

Our intern will also have the chance to get to know other areas of our foundation work.

 

Candidate profile

Every member of our team is passionate about the work of Dekeyser&Friends, which aims to leave a lasting impression on the world. In addition to displaying a clear motivation to join us, you should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in communication, marketing or any other related field. We expect our interns to be highly proficient in English and German and be able to work with all MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.). Ideally you have already gained some work experience in the business or non-profit fields and are able to work independently.
